Long Time
Staffer Selected to Lead Program
CSR is glad to welcome long time staffer Alex Bienz to serve as the 2010 Boy Scout Resident Camp Program Director! Alex has served on the Joseph A. Citta Scout Reservation's Boy Scout Camp Staff since 2002 serving in many roles including: CIT, First Year Camper Program, Lifeguard, Commissioner and most recently served as the Assistant Program Director. Alex brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and is "extremely excited" to be able to serve our Scouts for another summer at CSR!

Fans, veteran Webelos Adventure Camp Program Director Kathy
Nogalo is back for another outstanding year of Webelos
program at the Jersey Shore. Kathy has been the driving
force behind our always popular WAC program since its
inception 5 years ago, and has been directing Cub Scout
program at CSR for over 12 years! (Since you were 15, right
Kathy?) Unlike Day Camp which ends in the afternoon,
participants at WAC have three nights of camping to help
prepare them for their transition to Boy Scouts. WAC is
recommended for both Webelos I and II dens, with different
activities for both groups. New for 2010 will be Cooking,
Cub COPE, and more! Watch our site for further updates as we
build your Scouts a memorable program.
Day Camp Returns
to Citta!
We are pleased
to announce that we will be hosting a week of Cub Scout Day
Camp at CSR this year! An exciting program is already in the
works, led by Day Camp Program Director Dianna Boyadjian of
Pack 61. Dianna has also accepted the role of Family Camp
Program Director, helping to provide a seamless and unique
experience for your Cubs this summer. Dates are locked in
for Day Camp for June 28-July 2nd. Don’t forget
to check out all the awesome Day Camp opportunities
throughout the Jersey Shore Council this summer, with camps
in Jackson, Toms River, Egg Harbor City, Mays Landing,
Atlantic City and Pleasantville! Each camp offers a unique
experience, so no matter where you live, you can’t go wrong!
First Ever
Benefit Golf Outing SUCCESS!
The first ever Benefit Golf Outing for CSR was a huge success! Many thanks
to all who attended and braved the deluge the day of the event. Special thanks goes out to Pack 35 and Troop 1 for your sponsorship and assistance to the thousands of Scouts who will benefit from the programs offered at CSR throughout the year! The outing raised over $1200 and will go to help the many projects planned for CSR!
