Frequently Asked Questions
How can I request a specific campsite?
Campsite reservations are assigned based on a first-come-first-served basis as well as the size of the Unit. You will have the option to enter a request in the online system when you sign up for camp. We will work to accommodate these requests as closely as possible. We will also take physical and medical needs into account when assigning campsites if they are entered during the online reservation process.
Do I need to bring my own tent?
Citta Scout Reservation provides canvas tents on wooden platforms with cots to all Scouts and Scouters who attend Summer Camp. However, if for some reason you are uncomfortable with that setup, you are more than welcome to bring your own tent.
As for the rest of the year, you will need to bring your own tents.
Do all campsites have access to electricity?
Most campsites have electricity for basic necessities. Campsites along the North Road do not have electricity at this time.
I need electricity at the campsite for medical reasons.
Please enter this request in the online system when your unit registers, under the Medical Needs section. Include your reasoning for this request. Medical reasons are the primary factors in allowing specific campsite requests.
Is there a doctor or nurse at camp?
Yes, there will always be a Medical Officer on staff during Summer Camp who is capable of treating first aid, and connecting Scouts and Scouters with additional medical assistance if required.

Yes. If the adult is coming 3 days or less they can split the week with other adults. Adults splitting a week cannot be at camp at the same time. The one checking out needs to meet the one checking in at the camp office to switch them over. Adults staying 4 days or more are required to pay the full week fee.
What is appropriate swimwear?
Appropriate attire is required for all activities. BSA’s National Aquatics Subcommittee recommends: Swimsuits should be comfortable, functional, and modest. For males, swim trunks or board shorts are appropriate. For females, modest tankinis or one-piece swimsuits are appropriate. Inappropriate swimwear includes swim briefs or swim bottoms short enough to allow exposure and bikinis.
